Name: Randy Creech Family: Wife:Paula Son: Brady Daughter: Mallory Daughter-in-law: Sarah What made you decide to run for council : I am a life-long resident of the Village and have attended many, many Council meetings. I had become disappointed in the direction that the Village had taken. I retired and decided to run for Council as a means to restore the voice of reason to local government. What are your main goals as a member of council: To bring the voice of the people to the table at Village Council meetings, and to restore reason to the Village Council. I am very proud of the Village and was extremely disturbed in the path that had been chosen. I intend to vote using common sense and reason. Statement to the citizens: Over the years I have worked with and for many of the previous councils. I have seen "the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly". I felt that the direction the Village was taking was not only bad for the Citizens, but would ultimately lead the Village to, at best, mediocrity. I feel that Lewisburg is the "Gem" of Preble County and should strive for excellence in all areas. I vote on issues brought before Council, based on common sense, and reason, all the while keeping the goal of excellence in mind. I feel that changes made recently to the Administration and elected officials is a giant step in the right direction. I am looking forward to serving the Citizens, and the Village in this important position. I appreciate your confidence in me and thank you for your votes on election day. |
