Jackie Sewert JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING Jackie has served as a council member since January 2001. Having served in this capacity for this many years has provided Jackie with experience and insight into the workings of municipal government, which allows her to continue to lead the community in a positive direction. Village Council is entrusted to provide the necessary services to residents, while maintaining a balanced budget and this is not an easy task during this economic climate. She retired from the Preble County Educational Service Center after completing 30 years of public employment. In 1989, Jackie became a volunteer EMT-B, and in March 2000, increased her certification level to EMT-Intermediate. In 1996, Jackie married BJ Sewert and joined the Lewisburg Emergency Unit (LEU) in 1997. Their family consists of 3 grown children, 3 rescue dogs, and 2 cats. Since retirement, much of her free time is spent volunteering with the LEU and working side-by-side with her husband, gladly serving the Village of Lewisburg in many capacities. |
